One of the newest additions to the area is Go Ape Treetop Adventure at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex, which provides visitors with a two-to-three hour Tarzan-like experience up in the trees. The adventure begins with a 30-minute safety training course, where visitors will be taught how to work the harnesses, pulleys, and carabiners. And while staff instructors will always be wandering through the forest in case anyone needs help, visitors are pretty much on their own to ride the five ziplines, glide through the trees on swings, climb rope-ladders, and navigate obstacle bridges.
